Terms of service

These terms apply when you use dkssolar.in, ask us for a quote or site survey, or buy a solar system from DKS Solar (GSTIN 09JNMPS6605D1ZI), CS-003, Alpha 1, Alpha Plaza, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201308 (“we”, “us”).

By using the site or engaging us, you agree to them. Where your signed quotation or contract for an installation says something different, the contract applies.

System sizes, prices, subsidy amounts, savings, payback periods, EMIs and generation figures shown on this site are estimates based on the assumptions we publish on the calculator page. They are not an offer and may differ from your actual result.

Your price is fixed only in a written quotation issued after a site survey. The quotation names the equipment, the scope of work, the price including GST and how long it remains valid.

Site surveys are free and carry no obligation to buy. We need safe access to your roof and electrical panel. The response and survey times we mention are targets we work to and cannot be guaranteed.

The PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana subsidy and similar schemes are run by the Government of India, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and your electricity distribution company (DISCOM). They decide eligibility, the amount and the timing, and they may change the rules.

We prepare and file your application and follow it up until it is resolved, but we cannot guarantee that it will be approved, the amount, or when it will be credited. The subsidy is paid by the government directly to your bank account. It is not a discount from us unless your contract says so.

Payment milestones and taxes are set out in your written contract. Loans and EMIs are provided by banks or NBFCs on their own terms and subject to their approval. We can help you apply, but we are not the lender.

• You own the property, or have the owner's written consent to install.
• You tell us about anything that affects the roof's strength, waterproofing or safety, and follow our recommendations on them.
• You provide the documents needed for DISCOM, net-metering and subsidy applications, and they are accurate.
• You understand that connection and net-metering approvals are decided by your DISCOM.

Panels, inverters and other equipment carry their manufacturers' warranties on the manufacturers' terms. We help you make and follow up claims. Our own workmanship warranty covers defects in our installation for the period stated in your contract.

Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, alterations or repairs by others, theft, fire, flood, lightning beyond the protection installed, other natural events, or faults in the grid supply.

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in your written contract. Equipment ordered specifically for your project may not be returnable once ordered, and costs already incurred for approvals may not be refundable.

The content of this site is for general information. We work to keep it accurate, but tariffs, schemes and prices change. Don't misuse the site, for example by submitting false enquiries or trying to disrupt it. Text, drawings and design on this site belong to DKS Solar unless stated otherwise.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including savings you expected but did not receive because of changes in tariffs, weather, shading or government policy. Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other law that cannot be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly. Subject to that, the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.
