DKS Solar (“we”) decides how and why your personal data is processed on this site and in our work, which makes us the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). Our address is DKS Solar, CS-003, Alpha 1, Alpha Plaza, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201308.

Information you give us. When you send an enquiry: your name, mobile number, pincode, approximate electricity bill and property type, and anything you write to us.

Documents for your project. If you go ahead, the documents needed for your DISCOM and subsidy applications, such as your electricity bill, Aadhaar, bank details and property papers.

Conversations. Records of calls and WhatsApp messages with our team.

How you found us. On your first visit, your browser's local storage keeps the page you arrived on, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source, gclid or fbclid). This is sent with your enquiry so we know which advert or page brought you. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

• To call or message you about your enquiry and arrange a site survey.
• To prepare your quotation and design your system.
• To file subsidy, DISCOM and net-metering applications you ask us to make.
• To install, service and support your system, and handle warranty claims.
• To understand which of our adverts and pages are useful.
• To keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.

By sending an enquiry you consent to us using your details for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@dkssolar.in or calling 080475 45990. We will then stop contacting you, except where we must keep records to meet a legal obligation, such as GST invoices.

When they are switched on for this site, we use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, the Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity to measure visits and the results of our adverts. These services may set cookies and collect information about your device and how you use the site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, email delivery and the spreadsheet where we track enquiries.
• Government portals and your DISCOM, when you ask us to apply on your behalf.
• Banks or NBFCs, when you ask us to help with a solar loan.
• Equipment manufacturers, when we make a warranty claim for you.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store data outside India. We use established providers and share only what each one needs.

Data sent through our forms is encrypted in transit. Access to enquiry records and project documents is limited to the people who need it to serve you.

We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to follow up with you. For customers, we keep project records for the length of your warranties and for as long as tax and accounting law requires. After that, we delete or anonymise them.

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

• Give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
• Correct, complete or update it.
• Erase it, where we no longer need it for a legal purpose.
• Respond to a grievance about how we have handled it.

You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you in the event of your death or incapacity.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

This site and our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
