Questions

Commercial solar, answered.

Something we haven't covered? Ask the team directly.

Ask on WhatsApp
What ROI can a factory or commercial building expect?

Commercial tariffs in UP and Haryana are higher than domestic ones, so payback is often 3–4 years. Businesses can also claim accelerated depreciation on solar assets, which improves returns further. Speak to your CA about applicability.

CAPEX or RESCO: which model is right?

With CAPEX, you own the plant and keep 100% of the savings. With RESCO/PPA, there is zero upfront cost: you pay a fixed per-unit tariff that is lower than the grid rate, and the developer owns and maintains the plant. We model both options for your load profile.

Do housing societies get a subsidy?

Yes. Group Housing Societies and RWAs can get central assistance of ₹18,000 per kW for common-area loads such as lifts, pumps and lighting.

How long does a commercial installation take?

A 50–100 kW rooftop plant typically takes 3–6 weeks from design approval to commissioning. Net-metering approval timelines depend on your DISCOM. We handle that liaison for you.
